Troy Alexander Henderson, 17, passed away on November 20th, 2024. He will be remembered for how hard he loved, his loyalty, and the unique perspectives he was able to provide to those in need. He was truly a shoulder to lean on.
Troy is survived by his mother, Sarah, father, John, sister Allie, grandparents, Tony, Laura, and Peggy, and many others that loved him dearly.
Troy was born on February 24th, 2007 in Tulsa. He was a senior at Union High School. He worked at Taco Bell. The majority of his pay went to designer clothing and Jordan's. He was a talented skater and artist. He was so full of life. His smile lit me up. His laughter kept me going. My sweet boy who at 4 years old, tried to give me his piggy bank after overhearing that I didn't have the money for a new washer.
One of Troy's favorite places to be was fishing with his Papa Tony. He loved the water. He shared his love of music with his Mama. We would often just drive around listening to music and talking about life. He was passionate and fierce. If he loved you, he made it known in his words and actions.
Please join me in saying goodbye to my "not so mini me", on Monday, December 2nd, 2024 at 10am at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
