Velma L. Tucker Dickerson, better known all her life as "Missy", was born on September 2, 1928 to Velma L. Rogers Tucker and Herschel M. Tucker. She accepted Jesus as her savior at age 14 and was baptized at the first Baptist Church, Tulsa, Ok. She went to be with Jesus on December 18th, 2022, at age 94, after a short illness.
She graduated from Will Rogers High School in May 1946 and graduated from St. John's Hospital School of Nursing in August 1949. She spent the next 50 years working in Tulsa as a Registered Nurse.
She loved her family, her church, volunteering, traveling and her St. Louis Cardinals.
She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Dickerson Keiffer and husband Dean and her son Roger C Dickerson and his wife Maria, four beloved Grandsons and six Great Grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at Moore Funeral Home, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, OK at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 27th.
