Obituary

Vera Inez " Granny" Waggoner, 99, Tulsa resident, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in Tulsa. She was born June 16th, 1915 to Earl J. Cotton and Callie (Cook) in Sallisaw, OK. Vera graduated from Central High School in Tulsa and later graduated from beauty college to become a beautician. Vera later became a wife, homemaker and mother. She was a member of 10th & Rockford Church of Christ and Sweet Adeline Chorus, five time member of the year. Vera is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth Waggoner and brothers, Earl Junior Cotton and Wayburn Cotton. She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Waggoner, Jr., wife Alice, and Warren Waggoner both from Tulsa, sister, Alice Louise Skipworth, husband Frank, of Tulsa, four grandchildren, Lesley Lynne Murphy, husband Mike, Shelley Faye Waggoner, Jamie Waggoner, husband David Baer and Steve Waggoner, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 2:00PM to 4:00PM Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Moore Funeral Home - Eastlawn Chapel.
Funeral Service: 10:00AM Monday, April 13, 2015 at 10th & Rockford Church of Christ in Tulsa.
Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.
Contributions: 10th & Rockford Church of Christ.
