Verda Seiler went to be with our merciful Father August 24th, 2016. She was born September 11th, 1923 to James and Ruby Lowry of Meade, KS. She married her husband of 64 years Charles Dwinnell Seiler June 27th, 1944 and had three children: Charles Dwinnell, Martha and James Seiler. Verda served her country during WWII in the Navy Waves program as a photographer with the Jayhawks Squadron and later worked for the Tulsa World from 1968-1989 when she retired. She enjoyed traveling but most of all she loved being with her family and serving in her church. She specifically enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Verda Seiler is preceded in death by her husband Charles Seiler; son Charles Dwinnell Seiler; sisters Verla, Dorothy and Faye; brothers Winton and Wayne and her parents James and Ruby Lowery. She is survived by her brother Gordon Lowry of Valley Falls, KS; daughter Martha and husband Bob Winzenburg of Tulsa; son James and wife Diana Seiler of Yukon; grandchildren Jennifer & David Limestall, Chris & Casey Winzenburg, Patrick Seiler and Sarah & Quince Fennell along with great grandchildren David and Shelby Limestall, Syler and Alex Rex, Drew and Gabe Rogers and Baby Violet as well as a host of nephews and nieces cousins and friends.
Even though our hearts may be heavy we know she is in Heaven and feeling so much Glory. She had a wonderful life being a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, Twin sister, and many more positions in life that helped mold us all. We love and miss you great...Till we see you again.....
