Vernon Lynn Hopper
February 27, 1935 – June 2, 2015
Born in Wright City, Oklahoma on February 27, 1935, Vernon lived in Tulsa in recent years and went home to be with the Lord on June 2, 2015.
Preceded in death by his parents, Vester L. & Elizabeth V. Hopper. Survived in death by his wife of 39 years, Carolyn Sue Hopper; his children, June Gerred, Vernon Hopper, Jr., James Hopper, Niki Courter, and Char Castro; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Vernon graduated high school from Webster High and Spartan School of Aeronautics. He served in the Air National Guard, then made a career as a cooperate pilot.
Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 P.M., Friday, June 5, 2015 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
