Verta Evorah Lewis, 98, of Tulsa, passed away Monday, June 24, 2019. She was born on Thursday, May 19, 1921 in Haskell County, OK to Lee and Della Mabray. Evorah was the co-owner of Argie Lewis Flower shop. She enjoyed gardening, and traveling with Argie and with the Temple Quartet. Evorah is survived by her grandson, Jacob Casey of Ionia, MI; her sister, Verline Coonce; many nieces and nephews and a lifetime of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Argie Lewis; her daughters, Deborah Lewis and Susie Lewis Casey; her sisters, Jewel Jackson, Lois Bibb and Ruby Sanders; her brothers, Gerald Mabray and Earl Mabray. Evorah will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have her in our lives.
