Obituary

Vic was born on September 1st, 1951 in Tulsa, OK. He entered eternal rest peacefully on December 6th, 2019 in Tulsa, OK. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Meda Rogers, a sister, Georgann Sawyers, and a brother-in-law Charles Carr. He is survived by his wife, Angie Rogers, daughters Heather Roberts, Crystal Stephens and Summer Rogers, grandchildren Aspen Ramey, Breana Roberts and Ayden Stephens, sisters Sherry and her husband Kenneth, and Linda Carr.

Vic attended the Oklahoma Military Academy as a teen. He graduated from Central High School in 1970. As a teen, Vic worked at Bell's Amusement Park, a local favorite hangout. During his adult life, he had several different jobs, most involved work at machine shops. He entered his retirement at the end of October of 2019 from Crosby McKissick where he had been employed for over 15 years.

His life involved extensive amount of time on golf courses across northeast Oklahoma and sometimes out of state. Golf was his passion and he met many people while playing the game. In his younger years, he played hockey which was mostly on the streets rather than ice.

He was easy to talk to and could talk to just about anyone he met as if he had known them for years.

He was a friend of Bill W.

Visitations will take place on Monday, Dec 9th at Moore's Funeral Home (9350 E 51st St, Tulsa, OK 74145) 9am-8pm (family visitation will be 6pm-8pm).
The celebration of his life will be Tuesday, Dec 10th at Memorial Baptist Church (2800 S Yale Ave, Tulsa, OK 74114) at 2pm.
