Victoria "Vickie" Wash left this world February 14, 2022. She brightened the lives of so many people with her beautiful smile, great sense of humor, and sweet demeanor. She lived at Hissom Memorial Center prior to moving into her own home where she was cared for by staff. She collected dolls, and though she had so many, she knew each one by name. At least one doll was expected as a gift for all birthdays and Christmas. Just as she knew all the names of her dolls, Vickie never forgot the name of those she met, regardless of how long ago it had been. She loved pizza, cake, pie, the color red, music, and her 'family'. If she wasn't trying to 'steal' your man, she was asking you, "who do you love?" She was a sweet soul, who no doubt, when meeting Jesus, asked him the very same question.

She is survived by her 'family', Denise, Rich, Lindsey, and Lauren Bandl, who loved her dearly. She was also loved by the many staff and healthcare professionals who provided care to her. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Little Lighthouse or another disability-related organization.
