Viola Marie Loeb, formally of Owensville, MO, passed away at the Villages at Southern Hills Nursing Home in Tulsa, OK on June 24, 2016. She was 91 years old.
She was born Dec. 16, 1924 in Tea, MO, the daughter of the late John W. Havener and Katherine (Eickhoff) Havener. Viola was a graduate of the Owensville High School class of 1943.
On Jan. 1, 1947 she married Benjamin Walter Hesemann. To this union one daughter was born.
In her early years she worked in a Ben Franklin store and Brown Shoe Company.
Ben passed away July 21,1974. On June 19,1977 Viola married Walter William Loeb. Walt passed away March 27, 2004.
She is survived by one daughter Patricia and husband Terrance Ridenhour of Tulsa, OK , one grandson Cory Ridenhour and wife Suzanne of Columbia, MO, two sisters-in-law Helen Havener of Springfield, MO and Leona Idel and husband Raymond of Owensville.
She was preceded in death by one grandson Sean Ridenhour and three brothers Lester, Olaf, and Delbert Havener. Viola was a long time member of St, Peter's United Church of Christ. She was also a member of the St. Peters Dorcas where she enjoyed helping to create quilts.
Memorial Service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 9, 2016 at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Owensville, MO. Burial will follow service at Countryside Memorial Gardens. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
