Cherokee Violet Hull, Age 94, passed away on June 9, 2014 at her home in Jenks, OK.
Visitation will be held at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, Tulsa, OK on June 13, from 10am-8pm. The family will be available from 6-8pm.
Funeral service will be held at Proctor Community Church, June 14, 2014 at 12pm with Pastor Steve Lewis of Parkview Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at the Proctor-Sanders cemetery next to the church. Moore Funeral Homes are handling the funeral arrangements.
Violet was born in Christie, Oklahoma to Charles and Jesse Sanders on January 28, 1920. She attended school in Proctor, OK. Violet was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, quilting, cooking for her family, and she enjoyed watching football and baseball.
Violet is preceded in death by husbands Bill Trickett and Roy Hull, brothers Martin Sanders, Arthur Sanders, Calvin Sanders, Joe Sanders, Robert Sanders and sisters Susie Raines, Charlotte Cone, Louisa Swake, Crystal Butler and daughter Shirley Baker.
Violet is survived by sons Bill Trickett(Reba), John Trickett(Janet), David Hull(Tracy), daughters Ada Kay Townsend, Linda Coffey(Gregg), Beverly Conatser(Ross). One brother Lemuel Sanders and one sister Jessie Skrzypczak, 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
