Cleo Virgil Cearley passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Tulsa at the age of 87. He was born to John and Golda Cearley on March 3, 1928 in Slick, OK. He was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and devoted wife, Mary Etta Cearley, whom he wed on October 10, 1947. His brothers: Leland Cearley, Bill Cearley, Jim Cearley, and Rex Cearley also preceded him in death. He is survived by his five children: Terry Cearley, Steva Cottingim, Dane Cearley, Cynthia Rogers of Tulsa, and Debbie Cook of Mounds, as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cleo retired from Oklahoma Natural Gas. He and Mary attended the First Church of the Nazarene for most of their adult lives. Cleo enjoyed fishing with friends and family, woodworking, and traveling; he valued family above all else. We will miss his smile, hugs, jokes, and stories.
Services to be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 29th, 2015 at Eastwood Baptist Church, interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., Sunday, Moore's Eastlawn Chapel
