Virgil Eugene Daniels
Born: April 25th, 1928
Died: April 18th, 2025
Virgil Eugene Daniels passed away peacefully on the morning of April 18th, 2025 with his children by his side. Virgil was a veteran. He was born in Joplin on April 25th, 1928. He was lovingly married to Betty (Dellasega) Daniels who passed away peacefully in 2022 with her children by her side. We are certain he has joined Betty in heaven for eternity.
He met his loving wife Betty in Parsons, KS in high school. Their chance meeting was followed by her riding on his handlebars to escort her home with laughter filling the air. They fell in love and 4 short years later were married on April 24th, 1948. Soon thereafter, they moved to Bartlesville, OK and finally settled in Tulsa, OK in 1969.
His marriage to Betty will be remembered by all as the perfect union of endless love, respect and commitment that stood the test of time for 74 beautiful years. His favorite activity was to walk hand-in-hand with Betty anywhere they went. For Virgil, chivalry was a way of life. It was true love.
Virgil will be remembered by his family and friends as the most caring, loving, and giving person they ever met. His sense of humor and positive energy was contagious to everyone he touched. His dedication and commitment to his family was never-ending. He loved his children beyond imagination.
Virgil was an avid golfer and loved to play cards with friends. His faith in God and helping others in need were cornerstones of his life.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie, his son Bruce and his wife Gail; his sons Kevin and David. He is also survived by his granddaughter Thea Kocher and husband Nillson Kocher and his great grandchildren, Thaddeus, Shepard and Iris; and his granddaughter Isabel Daniels and wife Karen Encarnacion.
