Obituary

Virgil Everett Forester passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. He was born May 5,1931 in Moody, Missouri to Benjamin Albert Forester and Gladys Peal (Schauffler) Forester.
Virgil was a veteran of the United States Army stationed in Spokane, Washington and worked at American Airlines for more than 30 years.
On May 14, 1955 he married Betty Swindell and they shared 65 years together, until her passing in 2020.
Virgil is survived by daughter Karen Pryor (Don); son Billy Forester (Kari); sister Melvina Schneider; brother Earl Forester; 5 grandchildren Jeff Forester (Kristen), Rick Forester (Dana), Matthew Forester, Becky Pryor and Katie Pryor Eckert (Kendal); four great grandsons, Dalton, Tristan, Corbin & Riley, as well as many other family members and friends. He is predeceased by his parents; brothers Roy, Leroy, and Lloyd; sisters Gladys, Lois, and Ethel.
Virgil enjoyed 30 plus years of retirement and was happiest spending time with family and friends or his "old cars" attending many cruise in's.
Viewing will be 12Noon-8PM, Monday, February 3, 2025 with family greeting friends from 5-7PM both at Moore Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Moore Southlawn Chapel. Moore Southlawn 918-663-2233
