Virginia "Ginny" Mae Arment, 90, of Jenks, Oklahoma died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 21, 2013. She was born on October 20, 1922 in Phillips, Maine to Leon and Marion Wilbur Wing.
She graduated from Phillips High School and worked for New England Telephone and Telegraph Company in Augusta, Maine until she met the love of her life, Paul Arthur Arment, who was stationed at the Naval Air Station in Brunswick, Maine. They married March 9, 1946. Eventually, they moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma where both were employed by Cities Service Oil Company.
Upon retirement they relocated to Huntsville, Arkansas where they were devoted members of the Faith Southern Baptist Church. There Virginia was a IT)ember of the Ladies Auxiliary Hayes Smith Post 137 of the American Legion and active as a volunteer at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. After the death of her husband Virginia moved to Jenks to be closer to her children. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Jenks.
She is survived by her daughters Cynthia Faulkenberry of Divide, Colorado, Cathy Clinger of Jenks, son-in-laws, Johnny Faulkenberry and Tad Clinger; eight grandchildren, Paul Whitlow, Kristi Whitlow, Angela Smith, Tanna Donalson, Garet Stroup, Andrea (Andi) Clinger, Cason Clinger, and Natasha Samson; two grandson-in-Iaws. Brian Smith and Shane Donalson; and five great-grandchildren. Sierra Whitlow, Faith Whitlow, Naomi Donalson, Sam Donalson, and Penelope Smith. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, her parents, and her sisters, Marilyn Eustis and Feralyn Wing and her brother, Bion Wing. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Monday, March 25, 2013 at Moore?s Southlawn. Services will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday, March 26th at the First Baptist Church of Jenks, OK. Graveside service for the family will be 1:00 P.M.. Wednesday, March 27th, in Old Alabam, Arkansas. Virginia will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Old Alabam Cemetery.
