Virginia "Ottie" Dale Bryan went to her heavenly home on Thursday, April 7th, 2022 in Jenks, Oklahoma at Grace Living Center. She was surrounded by her family as she peacefully entered into Glory.

Virginia was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ada and Jesse Phillips on May 6th, 1934. She was the 2nd youngest of 7 children. Her faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was at the center of her life. She was known by her family and friends as a prayer warrior and a wise Godly counselor.

Virginia was kind and soft spoken, and always had time to answer any question or solve any problem, no matter how small. She was devoted to her family. Her daughters, nieces and nephews loved her dearly. And she was always up for an adventure with them.

Virginia graduated from Sperry High School and earned an associate's degree in accounting. She happily worked for Moore Funeral Home for more than 40 years leading the company's financial office.

She would marry her high school sweetheart "Pete" Higdon. They had two beautiful daughters Cheryl and Debra. Unfortunately, Pete would be called onto glory at a very young age. Virginia with the help of her mom and their family would raise her girls.

Once her family was grown and out of the house the Lord blessed Virginia with the second love of her life. She married Roy Lee Bryan on April 14th, 1978. They enjoyed a full and loving life together trying their hardest to spoil 3 grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by her youngest daughter Debra Bryan; her sister Bonnie Owens; her three grandchildren Janet, Brandi, and David Bryan; and her many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Pete Higdon; her daughter Cheryl Benoit; her husband Roy Bryan; and three of her sisters and two brothers.
