Viva Olive (Rickman) Short, 85, of Pierce City, MO, passed away on Monday, June 30, 1975, at Leisure Village Nursing Home, Tulsa, OK. She was born on Saturday, May 17, 1890, in Aurora, MO, to James Samuel Rickman and Lily M. (Cook) Rickman. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Byron Oswell Short. She is survived by her son, Gordon Short of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Mildred Gallatin of Des Moins, IA; and granddaughter, Virginia Baldridge of Tulsa, OK.
