Obituary

Wa Pao Lee, who devoted his life to God, and his family,
passed away peacefully on 3/21/2024.

Wa Pao Lee is survived by his wife of 51 years, May Chia Lee, his
children, Mai Pakou (Jeff) Kue, Yang Yixeng (Joua) Lee, Mai Panhia (Len) Smith, Mai Pahoua (Forest) Dorling, and Yue Pheng (Judy) Lee;, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and his parents.

Wa Pao Lee was born in Laos on 6/6/1953 to Mr. Chai Vang Lee and Mrs. Mos Yang Lee. He married the love of this life in 1973. He has 3 brothers and 4 sisters. In 1980, just after two years of arriving in the United States, he pursued his dream of being a Welder and graduated with his Certificate from Chrysler Institute in the Welding Training Program. He then made the decision to return to school and officially graduated with his General Educational Development through the Michigan State Board of Education in 1993.

Wa Pao's life was changed humbly when he heard the Lord's calling. He graciously and obediently picked up the Cross and made the unwavering decision to faithfully serve God. In 1997, Wa Pao graduated from Royce Bible School of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and respectively, he was also ordained by The Gospel Ministry. He was a spiritual man and was very involved in many church activities, youth camps, ministries; and loved to worship the Lord with his gifted voice. He remained faithful to his oaths, commitments, and obligations. He served and cared for God's flocks with pure intentions. Wa Pao Lee retired as a Pastor in 2010.

Wa Pao Lee was not just a devoted Pastor who served his churches and God's flocks; but he was also a very devoted father and a loving husband who loved his family unconditionally. His work is endless and his support for his family was tremendous. He was a pillar of strength, support, and discipline.

Services will be April 14th (8am to 8pm) and April 15th (9am to 12pm) at Moore Southlawn Chapel; 9350 E 51st St., Tulsa, Oklahoma, with graveside service at 12pm at Memorial Park Cemetery.
