Wade Alan Denny was born on November 1, 1982, to Mark and Carol (Glasgow) Denny in Tulsa, OK. He passed from this life on February 1, 2025, in his home in Sapulpa, OK.

Denny and Wife Ashley of Collinsville; his nephew, Luke Denny of Collinsville; his aunt, Donna Curley of Bixby; his aunt and uncle, Aleta and Brad Biddy of Edmond; his aunt and uncle, Vicky and Dwight King of Stonewall, OK; and numerous cousins.
Wade is predeceased by his father, Mark Steven Denny.
Wade graduated from Union high School and Northeast Tech in Afton, OK where he trained as a boat mechanic. Wade worked for a number of years at Process Manufacturing Company in Sand Springs, starting there as a maintenance man and sweeping floors. His expertise expanded and he became skilled in tube bending/fabrication work for oilfield related equipment. I think Wade felt a real sense of accomplishment when he stood beside a piece of equipment he had worked on. Wade made several very good friends there over the years.
First and foremost, Wade loved his beautiful daughter Peyton. He was so proud of her whether it be at a pig show or watching her cheer lead. Wade loved the outdoors and most always had a fire going outside in his fire pit. When anything needed to be thrown away, he would pitch it on the fire.
Wade started riding a bicycle almost before he would walk. One Christmas we went to a bike shop to purchase a bike for Kyle. While in the store he spied a little blue bike with training wheels. As we were leaving the shop, here came Wade pushing that little bike out the front door. It was a precious site. He was so sad we had to leave it there; however, we went back later and bought that bike. Needless to say, the training wheels were off very shortly as he wanted to ride along with his big brother. Later he became interested in bike racing, and he raced for many years throughout his childhood. Even won a huge trophy at Grands in Oklahoma City. Many a days were spent at a hot bike track in the summer; however, he never seemed to mind.
Wade started playing ice hockey at an early age for a kid growing up in Oklahoma. He was a natural on skates and from the moment he put them on he was able to skate like a pro. He played ice hockey during high school. He played defense and spent many minutes in the penalty box in his career. He continued playing ice hockey for several years after high school in a men's league. He tried in vain to teach Peyton to skate but not sure she ever truly mastered it.
He really liked to fish and his love for fishing started early in life as he and his brother spent most Spring Breaks camping with his PawPaw AB and MeeMaw at Eufaula Lake and they fished daily. Their PawPaw A.B. and MeeMaw were serious when it came to fishing. Wade would get bored if fish were not biting and would start throwing rocks into the water near the fishing poles....Not a good thing!!
Wade also loved to ride four wheelers, and especially with Peyton. From an early age Peyton would get on the four-wheeler with him and off they would go leaving a huge dust plume behind.
Memorial Services will be held at 11am on Thursday, February 6 at First Baptist Church of Collinsville, 1301 W Main St, Collinsville, OK 74021.
