Walter E. "Gene" Donohew
Died Friday, November 17, 2023, Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 99.
Born June 16, 1924 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gene graduated from Will Rogers High School, class of 1943. He was a WWII Army veteran serving in Europe and the Philippines. Gene was a sales representative for 30 years, a Mason and a Shriner. He enjoyed golf (where he made two holes in one), traveling and working in his yard.
Gene is survived by his wife of 75 years, Nancy, children, Pam Hanys (Denis), Mike Donohew (Marilyn), Robert Donohew (Cyndi); grandchildren, Zack, Kate, Molly, Emma and great grandchildren, Emily and Ryan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dora and Walter R. Donohew and his sister, Virginia Cooper. Gene will be missed by his family and friends, may he rest in peace.
