Walter "Walt" Thomas, founder and co-owner of Topoge Engineering in Tulsa, OK, passed away on January 9, 2022 with his loving wife of 61 years, Gayla Thomas by his side.

Walt, a military veteran, enjoyed life to its fullest. Walts hobbies included spending time with employees at Topoge Engineering, participating in the church choir, rooting for his favorite sports teams on television and spending quality time with family.

Walt always spent time in scripture and was there to help anyone who needed a helping hand in life. Walts greatest attribute was his giving spirit. If someone needed a helping hand in life, Walt was there to help them. Those closest to Walt knew not to compliment him on his hat or shirt because if you did, he would literally take it off and hand it to you. God blessed Walt with a kind and giving spirit and he will never be forgotten.

Walt was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Walt is survived by his wife, Gayla. Children; Kari, Mark, Rachel and Curtis. Grandchildren; Grant, Sara, James, Nick, Caleb, Claire, Chloe, Betty, Cate and Cruz. Great-grandchildren; Audrey, Leon and Kerby. Walt is preceded in death by his granddaughter Triston Leigh Thomas.
