Wanda J. Mitchell was born January 12, 1924 and was called back home May 6, 2016. During her time on this earth she witnessed a lot of changes. She went through the depression, World War II and all the subsequent wars. She was fortunate to see men to into outer space and walk on the moon. She was married and raised a son and a daughter. She had grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved completely and who loved her.

She was a woman of many loves. She loved to fish and garden. In her younger years she loved to ball room dance and even competed and won awards.

She enjoyed sports and was an avid OU fan as well as a Dallas Cowboy fan. I don't think she ever missed a televised game. I know you shouldn't call her during those times.

Her greatest love was for her family and was always a great supporter in any of their endeavors
