Wanda "Carolyn" Campbell Neal

Carolyn Neal, a proud Tulsa native, aged 88, was born October 7, 1936 in Tulsa, OK to Myrtle Magdalene Taylor Campbell and Wallace Clealon Campbell Sr.

Carolyn graduated from Central High School in 1954. She graduated from Draughon School of Business on the President's Honor Roll and was named "All Around Best Student". Carolyn was a member of the Student Senate and the school newspaper staff.

Carolyn and her husband, Paul met on a blind date.They married in June, 1955. Paul was career U.S. Air Force and they made their home in many different states. He retired in 1980, when they made Tulsa their permanent home.

Carolyn was an incredible poet and sketch artist. Her creativity lead her to owning her own business "Grandma Carolyn's Bears". She committed herself to every occupation she worked in - State Bank, Arvest, Ford Glass Co., Home Healthcare, Nursing, and Hawthorne Naval Ammunition Depot - where she assembled 500LB bombs.

Carolyn's family was her first priority and biggest point of pride. Her children--

---All college graduates, she would often state that she owned a large part of Oklahoma State University. "Go Pokes!"

Carolyn was a member of Cincinnati Avenue Christian Church and followed their move to Sandusky Avenue Christian Church. She loved the Lord and taught her family to follow.

She loved poetry, Autumn, frogs, flowers, traveling, baking, making costumes, art by Georgia O'Keefe, and "Annabelle Lee", her precious pug.

Her parents, Magdalene & Clealon Campbell Sr.
and her brother, Clealon Campbell Jr.

She is survived by her brother, James Franklin Campbell

Viewing for Carolyn will be on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel with family present from 5:00 PM till 6:00 PM for visitation.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Moore Souhlawn Chapel with Chaplain Jonathan Gibson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Corynne Harrison, Scott Harrison, Matthew Bates, Michael Young, Tara Edwards and Casi Alred.
