Wanda Jeanne Patterson, 84 of Ponca City and Tulsa, OK passed away on October 7, 2015. She was born on November 15, 1930 in Yukon, OK and was the only child of Herman and Colleen Scott. A 1948 graduate of Oklahoma A&M, Wanda was a kindergarten teacher in Tulsa. She married Jack Patterson in 1956 - he was the love of her life.

Wanda was an active member and president of the Ponca City chapter of League of Women Voters, a Sunday school and vacation bible school teacher and involved in her children's activities. She was also a voracious reader.

She is survived by her daughter's family - Lisa & Ed Kepford, Matthew & Jordan of Tulsa and her son's family - Steve & Nicole Patterson, Claire & Abigail of Albuquerque, NM.

A celebration of her life will be held at Lisa's home on October 11th and graveside service on October 13th at 2:30 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.
