Ward Farmer, 93, of Tulsa, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019. He was born April 8, 1926 in Leslie County, KY to William and Sallie Farmer. Ward was proud to have served in the United States Navy in World War II and as a Boatswain's Mate Third Class in Korea. He was the owner of Magic Refrigeration and a member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church. He was a member of RSES (Refrigeration Service Engineer Society) and a past member of Rolling Hills Country Club, and he enjoyed golf, woodworking, skeet shooting, fishing and gardening. Ward is survived by his children, Dwight Farmer and his wife Cathy of Tulsa, Teresa Calico and her husband Tommy of Bixby; his grandchildren, Scotty Calico and his wife Lisa, Kimberly Holder; 5 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Ralph Farmer and his wife Jean of Oologah, Alford "Al" Paul Farmer of Demming, NM and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice Louise Farmer; 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Ward will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
