William Harry Andrews, 68, of Nashville, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 1977, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born on Monday, October 4, 1909, in Cuyahoga County, Cleveland, OH, to Harry A. Andrews and Pearl (Graham) Andrews. William was proud to have served as a Captain in the United States Air Force in WWII. He was married to Helen Roberta (Thompson) Andrews, and was a retired insurance salesman for Equitable Life Insurance Co. William is survived by his wife, Helen, of the home; daughter, Roberta L. Andrews of Nashville, TN; sister, Mrs. W. V. (Grace) Herrin of Memphis, TN; sister-in-law, Mrs. O. M. (Gladys) Carnes of Tulsa, OK; and a lifetime of friends. William will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
