Obituary
William "Bill" Grady Ainsworth, Jr. was born on October 7, 1928 in Mt. Pine, AR to William Grady Ainsworth and Lucille Christie Ainsworth. He died at home January 10, 2022 in Granite Falls, NC.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 66 years, Billie; and his brother Harold Dean. He is survived by his daughters, Terry Ainsworth and Martha Healey; one brother Charles B. Ainsworth (Judie); sister-in-law Betty Ann Ainsworth; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons. Bill graduated from Louisiana Tech University and worked for Amoco for 37 years.
Bill enjoyed cruising with friends to many destinations. He loved his family, the St. Louis Cardinals and OU football. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.
A graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery will be Monday, January 17, 2022 at 11 am. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in honor of Bill's late wife Billie. Services are under the care of Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home 918-663-2233.
