SMITH, William Boyd, 75, passed peacefully Monday, June 29, 2015.
Bill was born April 26, 1940 to Carl Warren and Cora Isabell (Brown) Smith, Tulsa, OK. Bill married Roxi (Cramer) November 25, 1989. Bill was a 1958 graduate of Will Rogers High School. He attended the University of Tulsa.
Bill joined the IBEW 584 Electrical Workers Union in 1966 as a certified apprentice electrician. In 1975, Bill became a licensed commercial Real Estate Broker. He had a true entrepreneurial spirit. Bill owned and operated many real estate holdings until he retired. Bill loved life and was so at peace, surrounded by his family.
Bill is survived by his wife, Roxi; son, Bill Smith, Jr. and his wife, Connie; daughters, Laura Smith, Shellie Smith, Amanda Smith and Carlie Smith; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Anita Louise McDonald. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Kevin David Smith.
A celebration of Bill's life will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Woodland Acres Baptist Church. The family will greet friends from 6-8 PM, Monday, July 6, 2015 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel.
