Obituary
William Charles Connell, or Bill, was born (not hatched) on December 1, 1947 in Coffeyville, Kansas. He attended Osage Elementary School, Roosevelt Junior High, Wilson Junior High, and Tulsa Central High School, where he graduated in 1966.
He went on to join the United States Air Force in December of 1966 and was discharged in December of 1974, his rank at time of discharge was Staff Sargent (E5). After being together for 11 years Bill married his ever so patient wife, Marcia, in February of 1989. After a majority of his life was spent being a truck driver he retired from National in 2005.
His main interests were his Grandchildren, going to the casinos, playing on the computer, going fishing, and visiting friends and relatives. He also loved to watch all the birds and animals around the house, occasionally shooting at squirrels with his BB gun.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia Weir-Connell, his two children, Tim (Carolina)Weir, and Tracy (Dan Schmidt) Weir; and his four grandchildren, Tori, Mario, Troy, and Allen Weir.
Viewing will be 12Noon-8PM, Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
