MILLER, William E. (Bill), 99, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. Born January 21, 1918 in Tulsa, OK. He was a graduate of Tulsa Central High School, Class of 1936.

Veteran of the U. S. Navy from 1936 to 1945 having served as a Chief Warrant Officer. He served in the reserves until 1954. He was Manager for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company with 34 years of service. A 71-year member of Pilgrim Rock Masonic Lodge #522; Tulsa Scottish Rite Consistory and the Akdar Shrine. Bill was a life-member of Telephone Pioneers, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph G. and Flora A. Miller; wife, Martha J. Miller; daughter, Elizabeth E. Cox; son, Richard E. Miller; second wife, Ilene A. Miller; brother, Eugene L. Miller; sister, Pauline L. Nations. He is survived by his, daughter, Carol A. Andrews; cousin, David Shorten; six grandsons, Christopher M. Smoot, Kevin W. Smoot, Cameron J. Smoot, Rick Miller, Rob Miller and Ryan Miller; granddaughter, Kimberly W. Wines; eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Friday, September 1, 2017 at Moore's Southlawn. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
