William Edward Elvins, 93, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born to William McKinnley and Irene Katherine (Sawyer) Elvins on September 9, 1923 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
William was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, owned a security company, worked in law enforcement for many years and later retired from the VA Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
William was preceded in death by his parents; son: Clyde Alan Elvins; and longtime companion: Georgia Hill.
He is survived by his wife: Thelma Sue Elvins; sons: William McKinnley Elvins and his wife Bonnita, Gary Lee Elvins, Ralph Edward Elvins and Jay Frank Elvins and his wife Paula; daughters: Katherine Irene Jones and Susan Marie Elvins; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
William will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Memorial service; 3:00p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Tulsa Moose Lodge 862 11106 E. 7th St. Tulsa, OK with interment on Friday, June 30, 2017 1:00p.m. at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
