Obituary

William Goudeket, Jr., 93, was born June 26, 1924, New Rochelle, New York, to William Sr. and Hannah Lowey Goudeket.

William attended Mamaroneck High School, Mamaroneck, New York. Shortly after his high school graduation at age 18 he was drafted into the Army.

As a member of the "Greatest Generation", William served with the 381st Bomb Group (H); 533rd Squadron, as Bail Turret Gunner, U.S. Army Air Force. He flew 35 missions. He was discharged in 1945. William attended Oklahoma A & M, college of Architecture and graduated with an Architectural degree in 1951. While in college he met Helen Ruth Brown and they were married June 25, 1948 in Stillwater, OK. They enjoyed over 69 wonderful years together. William worked for various architectural firms in Fort Worth, Ponca City and Ardmore. In 1968 he and his family relocated to Tulsa where he continued his architectural career with HTB Architects.

William and Ruth were long time members of First Baptist Church, Downtown, Tulsa. William was a member of AIA, American Institute of Architects, CSI (Construction Specification Institute) Tulsa Chapter. He was a 32nd degree Mason as a member of the Millennium Lodge #543.

William is survived by his wife, Helen Ruth (Brown), son: William "Bill" Lee Goudeket, his wife, Kathy of Spring, TX, daughter, Beth Lewis, husband, Bill of Lovington, New Mexico, daughter, Trisa Scott, her husband, Robert, of Tulsa, OK, 9 grandchildren: Megan Wade, Liam Goudeket, Whitney Tutor, Lauren Goudeket, Lee Lewis, Jocelyn Gonzalas, Robby, Tommy and Steven Scott. Also survived by 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation 4-6 PM, Sunday, October 22, 2017, Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Memorial service will be 3:00 P.M., Monday, October 23, 2017 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel.
