William Douglas "Bill" Kelley, Jr., 90, Tulsa resident, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in Tulsa. Bill was born July 20, 1930 to William Douglas Kelley, Sr. and Ruth Glendora (Harris) Kelley in Marseilles, Illinois. Bill served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict as a trombone player in the 118th Army Band and the 10th Army Infantry Division Band. He was a mechanical designer and designed pressure vessels. Bill was a member of Tulsa Central Church of the Nazarene. He was a chess player and built seven houses for himself and his family. Bill and Shirley were married on November 24, 1951 in Van Dyke, Michigan. He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Ann Kelley of the home; son, Mark Kelley, wife, Sheri of Willis, Texas; daughter, Debbie Moon, husband, David of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
