We are sad to announce the passing of William "Bill" A. McClung II, of Owasso, OK. He passed from this life home to his heavenly father on August 7, 2023, at the age of 75. Bill was born in Charleston, WV in 1947 and lived most of his life there. He loved West Virginia and even after moving to Oklahoma to be closer to his children and grandchildren never stopped longing for his home state.

Bill had a wonderful life where he went from working for the Department of Energy for many years as a draftsman to a longtime career at Verizon Wireless. In his later years he worked at Moore Funeral Home where he met wonderful people and enjoyed his time there immensely.

He was preceded in death by his father, William A. McClung, and his mother, Virginia A. Givens McClung. He is survived by his children Will A. McClung III of Owasso, OK and Shannon J. Ratzlaff of Claremore, OK. His grandchildren are Madi Rigney (22), Cagan (16) and Cooper (9) Ratzlaff and Izabella McClung (16 yrs.). He also had a great-granddaughter, Lisa Sage (18 months).

He will be greatly missed and always remembered as Poppy.
