William Robert Cox Jr., 72, passed away Saturday, November 28th, 2020. He was born in Tahlequah, OK to William Robert and Emogene Cox on April 22nd, 1948. He graduated High School from Bartlesville College High, and soon after he joined the military. Bill Jr, as he is known to friends and family, spent six years as a Fuels Specialist in the United States Air Force.

When he got out of the military, he worked at Coca-Cola before going to work at Pepsi Cola. He met his wife, Brenda, while working for Pepsi in the office. They were blessed with a daughter, Rachel and had just passed their 38th Anniversary in August.

After retiring from Pepsi, he went to work as a Fuels Specialist for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. When he retired again, he loved to spend his time hunting and fishing with close friend Kenneth Hacker, and going to hockey games with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill is survived by his wife; his daughter; his brothers, Joe and Alvin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a viewing for Bill Cox on Monday, December 7th, 2020 from 12-8 pm, and a visitation with the family from 4-6 pm at Moore Southlawn Chapel.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 8th at 10 am at Moore Southlawn Chapel, followed by a graveside service at 1 pm at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
