William Franklin Spencer

Spencer, William Franklin, age 67, of Claremore, died Thursday January 7, 2021 in Claremore, Oklahoma at Claremore Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 14 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel in Tulsa. William was born to Wilbur and Elizabeth Spencer on June 10, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He went by the name Frank. He entered the US Navy October of 1971 and served until October of 1975, achieving the rank of petty officer 3rd class. He received first good conduct award and national defense service medals. Frank served during the Vietnam era. Frank left his mark in this world as a compassionate, generous man who loved his friends and family. He enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling, and riding his motorcycle. Frank's favorite travel destination was the Grand Canyon.

He is survived by: his wife, Delvina Spencer; sister, Janet McCann; brother, John Anderson; daughter, Angelissa Spencer; stepson, Eros Garcia and wife Trisha; grandchildren, Savannah Chaffin, Ryan Carroll, Raini Schuh, and Haili Cooke; mother-in-law, Margaret LaPointe; sister-in-laws, Julianne Shilosky and husband Arthur, and Debra LaPointe; brother-in-laws Richard LaPointe, Lewis LaPointe and wife Kathy, Wilfred LaPointe Jr., Delbert LaPointe and wife Joan, Frederick LaPointe and wife Lynn, Edward LaPointe and wife Susan, Eugene LaPointe and partner Crystal, Mark LaPointe and partner Lorinda; along with a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins. Pre-deceased are Father, Wilbur Spencer; Mother, Elizabeth (Litchford) Spencer; brother, Robert Anderson; sisters, Martha Rutledge, Janice Hensley; daughter, Melissa Chaffin; father-in-law, Wilfred LaPointe Sr.
