Ed passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. He was born April 11, 1943 in Tulsa, OK to Harold and Jane Swarthout. He worked as a line repairman at AT&T for 37 years. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church enjoyed country dancing with Henrietta, working on cars and fishing. Survived by wife of 20 years Henrietta Swarthout, children Bradford Swarthout of Tulsa, Kevin "Jack" Swarthout of Tulsa, James Swarthout of Tulsa, Sheri Stallings and husband Kiah of Tulsa, John Tarrant of Tulsa, Woodrow Tarrant and wife Jennifer, of Bixby, Linda Tarrant of Tulsa, Gary Tarrant and wife Sarah of Tulsa, 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brother Jimmy Swarthout and wife Becky of Tulsa, sisters in law Carolyn Savage and husband Ed of Bartlesville, Patricia Durheim and husband Bud of Enid, OK, Dorothy Gilbreath and husband Jack of Langley, Barbara Wientz and husband Bill of Bartlesville. Preceded in death by parents.
