Wilmoth (Swift) Brickett, 94, of Vinita, OK, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, March 18, 2024. She was born in Cushing, OK, on Thursday, July 25, 1929, to John Dickey and Gladys (Burnett) Dickey.

Wilmoth was an Assistant Librarian for the City of Pryor, where she lived for many years. There she was active in the First United Methodist Church in Pryor, OK where she was in UMW, taught Sunday School, helped with VBS, and guided MYF activities at different times. Her later life was in Tulsa where she attended Christ Church on Harvard, Tulsa, OK, sang in the choir and served in office positions of UMW. She enjoyed reading, attending various Bridge clubs and social events. She was involved with her children's school PTO, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts troops. Her greatest pleasures included being part of her children's activities while they were growing up, attending her grandchildren's activities, and spending time with her family. She graduated from Stillwater High School in 1948, met her first husband at OSU, and had both her children and grandchildren attend OSU. Naturally she was Black and Orange all the way. After many years as a working widow, she was blessed with a second life chapter in her marriage to Charley Brickett of Tulsa. She was welcomed into his family and shared her love with them. She had several traveling experiences she never imagined she would. She also loved flowers, birds, friends, her birth State of Oklahoma, her USA, and mostly her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Wilmoth was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Donald Ray Swift, who passed in April, 1978; her second husband, Charley Brickett, who passed in January, 2006; her brother, Joe Dickey; her sister, Barbara Dickey; and her stepmother, Myrtle Dickey.

Wilmoth is survived by her son, Kenneth Swift of Vinita, OK; daughter, Leslie Gibson of Afton, OK; three grandchildren, Heath Gibson, Chance Gibson and wife, Kassi, and Kody Gibson and wife, Kelsey; two great-grandchildren, Tristan Gibson and Jackson Gibson; and a lifetime of friends.
