Yetta Herbster Cunningham Ashworth, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, November 5, 2015. Yetta was born June 1, 1924, in Mason City, Iowa to John George and Hazel (Hawthorne) Herbster. She graduated from Central High School in Tulsa and attended Oklahoma A & M (OSU). She was an executive secretary for several oil and gas companies in Tulsa.

Yetta is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ashworth, her parents; sister, Margaret Herbster; and brother, James Herbster. Yetta is survived by her two daughters: Margaret Elaine (Dale) Feldmann, Broken Arrow, OK., and Christy (Kemp Jr.) Lewis, Farmington, New Mexico. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Marie (Justin) Schuble of Edmond, OK, Daniel Feldmann of Edmond, OK, Jill (Shea) Dawson of Billings, MT, Amy Lewis of Albuquerque, NM and Kemp Lewis III of Austin, TX and 3 great-grandchildren: Audrey Schuble, Evelyn and Gwenyth Dawson.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Yetta is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 9, 2015, at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, OK 918-663-2233. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse @ samaritanspurse.org.
