With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Yia Yang Kue, our loving and devoted grandmother, mother, and friend to all whose lives she has touched, on June 26, 2022, she left us while resting at her home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was in her 84th year.
Born in Xiang Khouang, Laos, Yia traveled across the seas with her children to the unfamiliar United States in seeking a new life. She found joy in being a homemaker. Yia was the beloved mother of Sao and wife Pang, Jou and husband Choua Xa, Chinh and wife Mang, Choua and husband Vang Pao, Chai and wife Vicky, Chang and wife Pang, and Koukhasha and husband Looj Tuam. She also has 26 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She lived a full life as a wonderful mother, aunt, and friend. She loved gardening, talking to loved ones, and reading the bible. Most of all, she loved her family and friends and instilled good values in her children and grandchildren that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Funeral Service will be 9AM-8PM, Saturday, July 16, 2022 and 1PM-8PM, Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK.
